I am so disappointed in this book. I love the Highland Saga by Gabaldon, as avid readers should know, I love Jamie and Claire and the lot, and Jamie even plays a rather large part in this story. But it dragged, it was boring, there wasn't really a point to most of it. I thought the Lord-John-Books were supposed to be murder mysteries, but this one is just a book about Lord John, and I'm just not big enough a fan to read and enjoy it.
