Interestingly, the first sentence makes no sense once you've read the whole book. Reading this directly after watching "Black Swan" made my literary-scholar senses tingle, but I'll refrain. Two men meet at an airport, both have dark secrets, one wants the other to commit a crime, and in the end, it's one big mindfuck. Great read, I really like Nothombs prose and the idea behind this was good, if nothing new, but well executed.
