(no subject)
So very busy D:
At least I have a shiny new computer these days. Still don't have any kind of Photoshop, but I have been doing schoolwork with OpenCanvas 1, which is wonderfully FREE.
So it's kinda nice to have the internet in the comfort of my own room again. The problem of course is getting used to it so I don't stay up until 3am every night. Like I have been. *facepalm* It's a wonder I'm not sick yet - half my roommates are, and I'm not helping myself.
My consolation is I've actually been doing somewhat school-related work. I am currently listening to awesome Bill Cosby routines, looking for an adequate soundclip for my next 2D animation for that one class I love. (I think I want to do a Kung Fu Panda character - Tigress? Or Tai Lung? Hmmmmmm...) The point is, I want the soundclip to be Cosby because that guy cracks me up. And if it's from a standup routine it'll have some nice story built into it.
And yeah, lots of time blogsurfing for arty inspiration. That's a little dumber excuse.
Yeah, I should go to sleep or something so I can be awake in time for football tomorrow. And showers and stuff... think I might head up to campus to do some test animation in Maya. One of our main characters' rigs is nearly finished and we need to get going on testing it. My job is to do a walk cycle that would be unique to her character.
...man, I wish I were a better 3D animator.
Ah well.
