The following is the efforts and plans of several Maine activists. Please repost
the content below so that we may get the word out!

---

The Christian Civic League is planning to document this years Southern Maine
Pride events. This includes photographing and videotaping with goals of
identifying individuals within the community and creating negative propaganda!

Our plan is the same as theirs:

Obtain a camera or bring your camera. Activist movements have a long history of
providing legal observers, creating a record in case one is needed. We want
them to know they are being documented as well. Photography and protesting are
both protected by the Constitution. Let's exercise our rights, as they
exercise theirs!

As Michael Heath has stated:

"Individuals who speak out against the homosexual agenda often lose their
livelihoods. Worse, gay activists have attacked, beaten, and spat upon
individuals who protest their politically-correct celebrations of
diversity. It is a story that the pro-homosexual media conveniently chose
to ignore."

"We will do our part to protect the institution of marriage and the family no
matter what the cost?" Michael Heath

This is exactly the type of violence activists and members of our community has
always experienced. This is the reason that a real record is valuable. A new
accusation of attacks encourages this point more than ever!

Please note that the text on the Christian Civic League website and what is said
in the video are different.

We are requesting every member of our community who is able to make an effort to do the following:

1. Bring a camera. It can be digital, video, or film; it does not matter.
2. Document those who are documenting us and their supporters.
3. Remain peaceful, do not yell, argue, or become violent. This will only mute
our actions.
4. Make every photo count. Try to get faces, names and other identifying
information in your photos.
5. Take pictures of our community, especially those who are carrying signs.
6. If you do not own a camera or cannot obtain one, we may be able to loan you
one for this occasion.
7. Provide copies of your photos to stophate@muzzy.org
