I would be happy to pay your increased rates. I think. (*says that thinking of the $500 a shoot rate you were telling me about*) I might go broke, but your work is great!! I actually hope that you don't feel like we've taken advantage of you? I can see where you might feel that way, though. I'm sorry- if that's the case.

I still think they're crazy for not giving you an award for the sunset pic. I really like that one.

no no no...the rate increase has nothing to do with you guys, don't worry about that. it actually stemmed from hanging out with a fellow photographer of mine, same age, and just talking with some other ppl online and just at the fact that I've been doing a lot of "portfolio" work. And it was b/c I was worried I wasn't good enough to charge for a long time. But then when I hung out with my friend Demarcus, who is an AWESOME photographer, I found out his rate, and he has no qualms about charging, no matter the purpose of the shoot. And he charges a lot more than me actually. I figure if I'm not in a situation where I can improve my equipment or even the scenario where it has to be right that time, (like weddings, etc.) then I can't consider myself serious enough to want to make this a career. Which I do.

So no worries, my statement never had anything to do with you guys. :) What I do for you and Mike will always be b/c I want to. The Carl's Jr. was a nice touch though. :)

I just wanted to tell you Chris sent me the link to the kids new pics and they are so gorgeous. I can't believe how big they all are! Owen so looks like Mike and Grace is a knockout. She is so going to be trouble for the boys in a few years.

You had SIX photos in? Well, I saw three: the Friant sunset, Ouch, and Vanity, but I missed the other three. :-( I kinda rushed through some of the art because time was getting short and I still needed to see the animals. Congrats on showing so well, though!
