Dojima took the mug of coffee and brought it to his lips. It was still hot, so he paused and let the fragrant steam rise against his face. He breathed it in deeply.

"I think we need to talk to Souji's friends. A few of them are here, but I didn't see them at that Hamuko girl's party. We need to know if this is the place we went when they went missing," he said. That was a good place to start. Although the Overseers had said that time stopped back at home while they were here, and time had definitely passed when the kidnappings had happened. All those long days of searching and praying that the kids were found but not as bodies. But he was still so convinced that this was related to what was happening in Inaba. His limited imagination didn't have room for two mysteries.

He finally took a sip of the coffee. It was still hot, but years of drinking hot coffee had numbed his mouth to the pain.

And another mystery was the powers they had been given. He wondered what Adachi's power was, but he was completely unwilling to bring it up in case Adachi asked what his was. He didn't want Adachi to know he was capable of mind reading. He had yet to try this skill on anyone yet, but what went on in someone's mind was so personal and private, he would feel like a criminal if he so much as glanced at what they were thinking.

Fucking kids. God, he hated kids--ESPECIALLY those kids.

Of course, the perfect cop Dojima wanted to go and talk to them... when all that was on Adachi's mind was figuring out how the hell to get out of there. He wanted to seek out the 'Overseers' and just... do something terrible to them.

"Aah, yeah, great idea, Dojima-san." He feigned a laugh and sat down beside him on the couch. "Several of them are here... I saw Kanji Tatsumi and Yosuke Hanamura both posting on the phones we've been given..."
