I'll see what I can do! So far all I can find are misconceptions about Norwegian waterfalls. That's slightly disappointing. But my search is not over yet!
haha! :) I can't wait. Did you see the original post about Australian questions?
Also, I stumbled across an old post of mine about the The Scandinavian Language. I know that you and I have discussed the similarities but I am amused at the thought of "The Scandinavian Language"
I hadn't seen"The Scandinavian Language" post. Hee! I do love that they say : the term is of a region which encompass several similar but distinct languages.
As that is a truth with some modifications. Finnish is its own language group - Finnish Ugrarian or something. At any rate no one except the Finns understand Finnish. Swedish, Danish and Norwegian are all basically Germanic languages with a twist.
And I'm reading the Australian Questions now. Oh help! People ask the strangest things!
So far all I've found about Norway is the old reliable: "When do the fjords close?" But I'm not sure if that is a genuine question or just an urban myth. ;)
Q: Are there supermarkets in Sydney & is milk available all year round? (Germany) A: No, we are a peaceful civilisation of vegan hunter gatherers. Milk is illegal.
*laugh* Misconceptions go full circle! That was asked by a German ;)
I have to confess that I absolutely HORRIFIED Papa Koala when I was in highschool and thought that Pearl Harbor was in Darwin, Australia :D Darwin was also bombed by the Japanese during WWII so I guess I got them mixed up ;)
Also I am always getting into arguments with Americans who keep telling me that Sydney is the capital of Australia and I have to insist that it's definitely Canberra - and not just because I'm from there ;) I guess it's like how Toronto is more well-known than Ottawa :D

This one just struck me as absolutely amazing:
