I am amused by the Carpet Leak and LJ [no spoilers but there are links to spoiler comms]
REQUEST: Please don't include any spoilers in the comments. I'm not discussing the content of Book 7 in this post :)
LJ cracks me up sometimes, the way it spawns community after community. There must be thousands of comms that are created arising out of a momentary fad/wank/pocket of enthusiasm. What happens to them when the buzz is gone?
I gather Carpet Leak is one such fad. By the time 21 July comes around, we'll know whether people were Had or not :)
I have been reading spoilers over at the SPOILER COMM spoil_me_dh. There's a detailed FAQ here that posted spoilers from the Carpet Leak - which we still don't know is real yet. There are 2,488 members so clearly there are others who are curious :)
There is the community ireadtheleak that has this hilarious default icon:
There's also a comm called its_a_fake in which people theorise about whether the Carpet Leak is real or not :)
Some day I expect to see a comm called
when_I_woke_up_this_morning_I_bumped_my_head_and_ouch_gosh_it_hurt
Also, despite the 'language', these icons made me laugh so much :)
They are by lavenderfrost a non-HP fan who was dreading the Pötterdämmerung. They were posted at this post. No spoilers in that post.
