We were talking about funny names of companies the other day. There's an English law firm called Allen & Overy which I've always thought had a bad name - even though yes, I know ovaries are spelt differently.
Anyway, Ant sent me this email today because it mentioned how Allen & Overy had two new Japanese partners joining them and the press release from the firm was as follows:
"Nakata and Ito are A&O's first bengoshi (Japanese-qualified lawyers), and as a result A&O's Tokyo office will be renamed Allen & Overy Gaikokuho Kyodo Jigyo Horitsu Jimusho."
Holy dooley - try saying that three times in a row and very fast ;)
