Hee! To be honest I wasn't expecting him to do so much with them. I just wanted him to move them closer together in the images but he's really made them look like they're standing next to one another. I've emailed him a Helo/Kara request (below) and will get back to you when I get something back :)
As a thank you for being so sweet as to ask your brother to do this for me, have a sneak preview of my H/S opus: a scene that has Lee and Sharon interacting. ;)
Corporal Twinam ushered Sharon into the Admiral’s quarters, interrupting an ongoing discussion. Helo and Dee sat on the couch and leaned toward the low table in front of them, which was layered in photographs and maps. His back toward Sharon, Apollo gestured with jerky movements toward those same maps; he looked over his shoulder when the hatch opened. Adama himself sat in an armchair that formed an “L” with the couch. A floor lamp between the pieces of furniture illuminated the table. What the frak do they want with me? she thought as four sets of eyes turned toward her.
Twinam backed out and shut the hatch behind her. Adama half stood and gestured for Sharon to take a seat on the couch. “Sharon, join us,” he invited. She felt very much out of place with the two battlestar commanders and their executive officers. Rather than joining Dee and Helo, Sharon took the few steps necessary to reach Apollo’s side and looked down, her gaze caught by what looked like an aerial photo of a tent city.
She frowned. “This is New Caprica.”
“Yes,” Adama confirmed.
She looked over at him, as did Dee. She felt Helo’s eyes on her, but couldn’t bring herself to meet his gaze and so she concentrated on the Admiral. “A rescue mission?” she asked.
“Why is she here?” Apollo, beside her, interrupted before his father could answer. The younger man was never easy around her, but she supposed she couldn’t blame him for that. At least he was civil to her, something that could not be said for everyone she had to work with.
“We’ve been over that, Lee,” Helo began, his tone exasperated.
“Well, we’re going over it again, Captain.”
She risked a quick glance at Helo, who rolled his eyes, reminding her of the first time they’d met the younger Adama, when Lee’d had a rather large stick up his ass when it came to dealing with his father. Now, it seemed that he had one in regard to her.
“She’s a Cylon,” Apollo continued.
“And that’s exactly why we need her.”
“I still say it’s too risky. We don’t know what kind of hidden protocols could be programmed into her.” His tone was conversational.
“Don’t you think that if she had ‘hidden protocols’ they would’ve kicked in by now?”
“As far as we know, they already did. Her so-called early warning system didn’t exactly-”
“It wasn’t finished yet!”
Sharon cut off their argument. “I’m standing right here,” she reminded them. Crossing her arms over her chest, she shifted her stance so she could glare at them both while Dee relaxed into the couch, stretching her arms out along the back as though settling in for a show.
“Sharon is here,” Adama interjected, “because I asked her to come.” He looked at Sharon. “Sit, please.” His tone brooked neither protest from her nor further argument from his son and XO. Apollo raised his hands in surrender. An unreadable expression on her face, Dee moved closer to Helo to make room for Sharon, acting as a buffer between her and Helo, and so Sharon sat, grateful to the other woman for her sensitivity. But then, that had always been one of Dee’s strengths.
“Why am I here, Admiral?”
“I believe that you can provide a valuable perspective on this mission.” He glanced at Lee, still standing, before returning his attention to Sharon. “As Helo has pointed out, you’re not only an experienced Raptor pilot, but you have a rare expertise in evading the Cylons.”
She glanced quickly at the Admiral’s face. As always, his features gave no clue to his thoughts, but over the months she’d been on Galactica, she’d become accustomed to his subtle humor. Leaning forward to look at the reconnaissance photos of the tent city - these must have been taken before the Cylons found us - she laughed, “I suppose you could say that.”
“And,” Helo said, with a pointed look at Apollo, “your early warning system can be adapted to help us with recon, since it can penetrate the planetary system’s electrical and radiological interference.”
I love it! Thank you so much for sharing that with me! To be honest, I just love reading Apollo and Sharon even if it's not Apollo/Sharon because I enjoy the tension and antagonism of their relationship. Does this make me a sick person?
:D
Thank you again for sharing! I can't wait to read the whole thing. It's wonderful so far.

Oooooh. If you didn't say it was an H/S story, I'd say it had A/S paw prints on it :D
I wrote:
Any Helo's from the top row of this set:

And Kara from this shot:

There's a Helo here but the size might be out of whack:

Here's also Kara:

See what you can do?
Glad you like the images! :D
I have to say that Kara looks pretty stunning in the individual shot above.

As for the A/S pawprints... I've learned from the show that subtext is my friend. Hee.
