This unbeta'd bit of complete nonsense is a joke for sg_lab who was giggling with me about the strange fanon habit of Ronon/Weir fics referring to a certain item of clothing. She was just posting here with me about the rather amusing differences in definitions of certain items of apparel and how much of a difference it makes

OMG, that was hilarious. Teyla/Mckay hehe, I have a thing for that pair. I'm going to have to read a Sheppard/Novak fic. I think you have one I haven't read yet.

Really! That's hilarious actually I originally had intended for Zelenka to walk up and look embarrassed because I hinted at Teyla/Zelenka before but then for some reason, it ended up being Rodney and that pairing was such a funny idea that I kept it :)

I'm glad you enjoyed the scribble I wrote for you. You really did inspire it because even though I had thought about the meaning of thongs before, it was only when you posted that you also knew the 'shoes' meaning that this scribble jumped into my head :D

I have no idea if it's a regional thing in the US, but it still throws me sometimes when I hear flip flops instead of thongs, but when I hear thong it doesn't throw me much to think of it as underwear. Weird.

Hee! Glad you enjoyed it! There will always be eyebrow mentions - Ronon doesn't talk much so we have to rely on his expressions to do the talking :)

I was writing to dreamydaze about the certain patterns in SGA fan fic and I just remembered that another one is the whole 'people get drunk and do silly things' fics - and I suppose this was a variation of that theme!

*laugh* Well you know I was being completely silly but I enjoyed the story and even when I'm writing silly stories ... Ronon/Weir still manages to make its way in ;)

Oh I'm going to email you my Cedric/Hermione fic later today. I'm still tweaking at it, but I'll paste it into Word since I think that makes it easier for you to edit. Do you mind working in track changes? That makes it easier for me because then I can conform the LJ version to your changes.

Which version of Word do you have installed on your home computer? I'll try to make sure I save it in the right version. My problem is that I need to 'see' it in LJ format because all my entries on LJ are in raw HTML. So I can't do a copy and paste from Word, but if I have track changes on in word, then I can just peer at one screen and then scamper over make the changes manually. I just need to see all the changes clearly.
