A while back, I imposed on alexandral for a few icons. She was able to make a few but, alas, real life called her away before she could make more.

I just asked winterspel to help out, but decided it wouldn't be fair to put all the pressure on her given that I can't guarantee that she'll be inspired by the subject matter - so have decided to I've decided to re-open

Omigosh, I love those caps! I was wondering where the little girl from your mood theme came from, but I kept forgetting to ask you! She's so precious.

I would love to try my hand at making some for you, but I am in awe of what alexandral has already made - especially with those gorgeous little Chinese character brushes and her text - they look so perfect. I'm afraid mine couldn't hold a candle to those.

Nonetheless, I shall give it a try! :)

Thank you! I'm particularly fond of the last images - looking up at the sky and the window sill image so I was very sad not to have any icons for those :D The little girl is a Vietnamese girl they used for the movie and she's adorable. She's holding her ears because she's being punished for doing badly in class tests. She's called 'Little Nought' because that's what she got on her test :)

I hadn't expected anyone to do icons of other caps, too ie. Takeshi, so ee!!! :) They were gorgeous. I've replied separately but I love the icons and will save them all. If you don't mind I was hoping to collect all the icons and put them in one post. I will credit of course! :)

She is the Chinese sister you never knew you had. Clearly I am having an Underscore Problem (puttin' them in, takin' them out!). I keep losing the 'p' in lucie_p whenever I type her name. Actually looks like I"m just having a typing problem altogether :D I adore it, than you so much! I'm going to have to do a rotation thing with my icons which is great! :)

LOL Funny you should mention sister...

My sister cathielu just recently opened an LJ (she knows absolutely nothing about how it all works) and her name is "Cathy." Well, she saw my name and added a "lu" to hers to be like me (mind you, she's not even a little sister, she's 7 years older than me!) I asked her why she did that, and she just thought it was cute. She didn't realize that I chose my name because my last name starts with the letter "L-U!" *rolls eyes* So, anyway, to make a long story short, your comment was closer to the truth than you thought!
