Howl's Moving Castle: Sophie icons by alexandral [amended]
I was in a very Howl's Moving Castle frame of mind and had collected a whole bunch that I liked. alexandral had previously created (as part of this set), the following Sophie icon:
At my request, she very kindly created a series of beautiful Sophie icons (variations of the above) ... but now I don't know which one to choose because they're all very beautiful. :) If you wish to use them, but please credit the very generous alexandral :)

If you haven't read or watched Howl's Moving Castle, I recommend that you do! It's a lovely book. My thoughts on it are here. The movie version takes a very different approach to the novel and partway through diverges quite sharply, but I also love the movie but for different reasons. My thoughts on the movie are here. The delectable Takuya Kimura did the voice of Howl in the original Japanese version, and Christian Bale was Howl for the English dub.
I even wrote a fan fic as an epilogue to the novel. The only weird thing was that fic made someone think I wasn't a native speaker of English and was Japanese (huh?) for some reason :P
For some reason, the novel reminds me quite a lot of Georgette Heyer style of writing - banter, elusive romance and sweetness. :)
