3 songs and few icons ....
Hmm it's been a busy day on LJ today. So much for lazy Sundays .... I am doing my listening homework right now though!
Many of you although not able to answer the Find A Dark Fic for Koala Appeal have been making/offering to make icons! Thank you :) I love you all. Mwa mwa. In case people need screen caps, I capped every single Apollo/Sharon scene I could find here. Please don't hesitate to use photoshop to perform any manipulations necessary to make reality reflect my fevered imagination ;) *grin* Ummm, also ancarett is calling me a pest. :'( *grin*
As I recover from flu, so is my iPod mini apparently! It started working again today. I'm so happy! I feel like sharing songs again. Today - it's some obscure Australian indie music! This song is called Share the Wine and it's by an Aussie group from Melbourne called Things of Stone and Wood. The song sounds happy but everytime I listen to the lyrics, I decide it's not a happy song. Anyway, download and try it - I'm sure you'll it. I realise that's a bit of a bullish statement but I'm positive I can say that you'll like it. Love it is hard to guarantee but like is definitely achieveable. Seriously. I would not lie to you!
I'll also give RMB5 to any non-Aussie who's ever even heard of the group let alone the song. I will rely on your honour not to Google. For those who prove me wrong, remember - the renminbi is a soft currency and cannot be converted into any other currency apart from the Hong Kong dollar. This means that unless you're Hera, we'll have to meet in person if you ever want to collect on this bet. :)
From the indie to the ... daggy 70s pop. Hee heeeeee.
Yes it's I was made for lovin' you baby by KISS! I love this song. It's great! I love the intro (the guitar bit, not the doo doo doo bit) and then I love the pause (dramatic pause) before BAM we hit the fabulous chorus!
Come on, laugh all you want but: "I was made for lovin' you baby, you were made for lovin' me, and I can't get enough of you baby, can you get enough of me?" That's like ... poetry .... or not. :)
I sang this at karaoke once and it was a blast. :) So everyone - jump up and down and poke out your tongue .... well ok you don't have to ... only if you really want to... And for a comparison, here is a cover verson of the same song by Paulina Rubio. I guess I'm a bit scared that her voice appears to be deeper than his .... but anyway. Still, it's cool to have a version sung by a chick.
