New pet hate ... the 'dual point of view' in New Adult novels
First of all, I think 'New Adult' as a genre is pretty pathetic but I really hate the dual point of view 'Her Perspective' and then 'His Perspective'.
The issue I have is very few of the writers seem to be able to carry off the male POV convincingly so it usually comes across as an extra emo, extra PMS-laden version of the Female POV.
