Richard Castle's 'Heat Wave'; we are STILL unpacking :)

Like sg-lab, I've been reading Richard Castle's 'Heat Wave', a clever 'marketing' gimmick in the sense that the book is referenced within the series 'Castle' and it's kind of cute that it actually exists.

My beef with it is that it reads just like an episode of 'Castle' which is fine because I enjoy the series BUT the thing is, although Castle's very blatant about basing 'Rook' on himself and Nikki Heat on Kate - it shouldn't really just be identical but with name changes ... Ah well :)

I'm not reading it right now though - can you believe that three days later and we are still unpacking boxes???

We had to squish the sofa together to make space

Everything's still half out of a box ...

More boxes ... the removalists also tracked in grass from the lawn but we can't vacuum yet because the place is sitll a mess

After a struggle, I managed to get all of our books to fit

And then as we unpack, we have to put the boxes to the side to clear space

The Canadian has developed an ability to compress a box flat in just a few seconds :D

Upstairs is just as bad

television, return to oz
