The season 3 finale to
Bones The Pain in the Heart a.k.a. The Kick in the Teeth enraged me because of what they did to Zack. I then wrote the post in which I said that
was beginning to feel frustration with the show because it had lost quite a bit of the magic from seasons 1 and 2.
I'm not an Angela/Hodgins shipper by any means, but the last episode "The Skull in the Sculpture" made me go HUH in a really bad way!!! Cut because I spoil for the episode. I am totally disgusted at the makers of the show for trying to use a cheap gimmick to grab people's attention. :P
I don't doubt that Angela, being the free spirit that she is would be all free-spirited and open to experimentation blah blah blah blah blah but I do think that it's kind of lame that not only have we been forced to endure:
1. Angela and Hodgins unprofessional behaviour at work when they pursued their sexual relationship
2. We had to endure their implausible break-up
3. We had to endure their potential dalliances with others
Now we have to have a lesbian kiss which really just seems to be a cheap way to up ratings, but really isn't that great a way to up ratings these days because honestly, girl on girl kisses are just so old hat :P If it made sense to the story I would have no problems with it, it just seems to be an act of desperation because they don't seem to know where to take the Angela/Hodgins arc ...
Bones - you are officially on notice!
