Travel plans - Qingdao for the

The Canadian and I are going to Qīngdǎo 青岛, Shandong Province this weekend for the Dragon Boat long weekend - although I think we're also supposed to be eating 粽子zòngzi as well :)

Have a good time! I LOVE these green triangulars. The flavour from the wraps is totally unique.

yummy "cheung" (my poor phonetically written version of Cantonese!) ... a close family friend poapoa would always make a ton of them in the different flavours (savoury and sweet) and we would always gulp them down. The poapoa passed away this past year, so I am not sure what we are going to do this year...esp since I am out in SanFran this summer...

Have fun in Tsingtau! I hope you are more lucky than I was during my visit there last year - it rained continuously for two days!

I hope you guys are having fun. :-) Btw, I saw The Painted Veil yesterday and absolutely loved it. I'm so glad you posted about it - have been looking forward to it ever since and wasn't disappointed.
