Day in the life...

Cool morning sun shone down onto Dannie's black hair as she manuevered Echo through the pre-rush hour traffic.

It was horrendously early by her standards. As far as she was concerned, this time in the morning should be banned, but sadly, it was the only real way to avoid the inevitable rush-hour snarls that occured in a city like New York.

She pulled the silver TVR up the driveway into the FLAG complex, flashing her shiny new FLAG ID card at the gate guard even as she cast a careful eye over Echo's e-shielding to make sure it was at maximum effectiveness.
Sliding into her allot parking space, she quickly got out, pulling her laptop case with her and whispering a quiet 'See you later' to her partner.

She walked down the clean, tiled corridors to her office, smiling as warmly as she was capable of at this time in a morning at the various early-bird technical staff she saw on the way.
Arriving in her warm, luxurious office (with it's attached lab and clean room) she slid her laptop into the docking station and waiting for it to boot and connect to the local network.

She reached over and flipped on the MP3 player and it's attached speakers, selecting something suitable for working up her brain before she turned back to her laptop and loaded up the OrCAD software.

She stared thoughtfully at the many coloured lines of the complicated circuit diagram on the screen and let her mind drift slightly.
She had, of course, managed to act suitably shocked and amazed when first 'introduced' to Kitt, but after that she had rapidly established a reputation around her for her intelligence, skill...and eccentricity.

She had quickly compiled an overview of Kitt's current capabilities. They were impressive even by modern standards...but the standards of 1982 they were downright mind-blowing.
But that didn't mean they couldn't be improved...the 'silent mode' on the engines, for example, could very easily be turned into outright 'stealth mode' with just a few relatively minor upgrades...and perhaps the judicious application of holographic technology.

Yet, she couldn't start work until she got approval, either from the Head of Field Ops or the CEO. Her report on Kitt's functions and probable upgrade capabilities was currently sat on the CEO's desk...but with things as much in flux as they seemed to be, she wondered if Gage would ever read it...and she had yet to even speak to Michael Knight face-to-face.

Her thoughtful regard of the PC screen turned into an annoyed glare.
