(no subject)
Well damn, it's been a while, huh?
A lot of random stuff has happened since my last post.
*Winter break: It was amazing. I went to Chicago and spent a lot of quality time with friends/family. I have a really tight group of friends from high school, and even though it's been a few years already they're still my best friends, and I love them.
And yes, I got drunk quite often, but not too often, I swear! Lol, I love it.
My break was 2 weeks long, and then I got to come back here...yay...
*1st week back at school: Yeah, we don't actually start school. They force us to come back a week early, restrict our privileges for the week, make us clean our rooms and inspect them on a huge Saturday inspection (after a 4 mile Brigade frickin run, blah, in the cold). I don't know why.
But, surprise! We were all supposed to get privileges for the weekend after the inspection, but the chain of command decided to restrict privs for just juniors and seniors...for some reason. I had such huge drinking plans too, but the drinking facilities on post were frickin closed.
Anyway. I'm over it now. ;-)
*The first week of actual school was schooly, per usual. My schedule is a lot better this semester, so hopefully once things settle down I'll have a bit more time. I think I might actually like a couple classes this time...strange...
I'm a squad leader this semester too, which should be fun. I loved it during Basic this past summer, even though things are a lot different here during the school year. I have 3 freshmen and 3 sophomores in my squad, and none of them are toolbags! Score! The odds were totally against that. LOL.
*Boys!
Okay, so I went through a period of time during which I was fairly depressed, and suffering from low self-esteem. It sucked, because I like being happy and liking myself. But, just yesterday, some awesome stuff happened! Each year here, every class has their own "weekend" where there's a banquet, and then everyone gets a free pass basically, and they get to go out and do whatever (drunkin'). Most of the guys bring their dates, civilian girlfriends (who get to wear dresses instead of uniforms...sigh). I'm going with Cute Coffee Boy from last semester!!!! I'm so happy. We sort of talked about it, and then I totally asked him. Hee. I don't normally do that! Anyway, we're going with a bunch of my friends to a hotel somewhere nearby...and drinking. Of course. Should be fun.

Okay, I have so many ridiculous stories, but they make me sound like a total dumbass, so...another time.
How's everybody doing? Seen any good movies or anything lately? I caught a bunch at home, always good. I kind of want to see Cloverfield (fuckin' JJ...).
