so i'm flying out to chi town this friday. i'm sure ya'll know how freaked out this gets me. it doesn't really make matters better that the nwa mechanics all went on strike and they replaced them with people they were training the day before the strike. so lots of beers pre-flight is what i'm going to require most. and eventhough my carebear socks were tossed so long ago because of holes i'll bring my three stuffed bears. i'm sure the other passengers will appreciate this because they are the items responsible for keeping up the flying beast. the reason for the trip is the bodyworlds exhibit (check out the website at bodyworlds.com). body plastification so i can't wait. and eventhough i'm not super into art of anything (one would have to drag me to an art museum) it's presented in a scientific/art form so as long as science is involved i'm there. i think i might just donate my body to this program so that i can live on forever. so i'm due to quit smoking this thursday. i have a bet with the boss that the first one that does anything with tobacco has to shave their head with a bic razor. no big deal for me you might think. well my sister is getting married in oct and i'm an usher so i'm gonna be all over the wedding pics and my family might just hate me if i show up with a skinned head. and did i mention it is a catholic wedding? it's a great season to see a wedding since mine was supposed to be sept 16th. i'm so excited to see this forever commitment shoved in my face. so erinn, if you're up for driving to chicago or crown point (45 mins north of rensselear) feel free to bring the little babygirl for a visit. if you do, i'll come bearing presents.
so i bought all the nicotine gum since the patches make me only have nightmares and night sweats even worse. no wonder i have trouble sleeping more than i absolutely have to....everything bad happens at night.
i get the day off tomorrow, paid because i'm watching the boss' dog while he goes on a stat cheese farm run to fix some machine or test something in wisconsin (no wonder they don't know how to work things right). damn cheeseheads. at least i get free money with it and a really cute furry companion. hope chicken and max don't care.
