I feel pretty sad. First of all, there is nothing worse than trying to buy a birthday present, and then have them show up while you are standing there holding it. It makes you feel rediculous, and rude, as you try to remove yourself from the situation. So that was upsetting, but worst of all, I hit a chipmunk. It was so cute as it was bounding across the road, and then **SPLAT**. I feel consumed with guilt. Who would think that one tiny baby chip munk could do that to you? I wish I was one of those hard-core people who ran over the animals for fun. I already apologized to God. I hope he accepts... I guess I will have to go out and find some good deed to do to make me feel better. But as for now, I think I will go outside and enjoy the weather and try to get myself to stop thinking about squirrels and chipmunks.
