So I took the new job as I had stated before. It's not what I want to do but once again it's good experience. It's also more money and less time in the office. This should calm my current apathy for a corporate job for a bit. I am still looking for something in a field that I enjoy. I have been networking thanks to the help of some friends and got my resume in a few places. I sent one blind to a local skate/snowboard mail order site as well. There are some independent rep positions open for the midwest for a few skate companies I've been thinking about applying to. The only problem is that I need to set myself up with a bunch of companies to pay the bills. From what I've been seeing though is you get one and they'll hook you up with others.

I went to a holiday party at my old bosses house this weekend. There were some people from work there and most of them just found out about my promotion and move back into the sales side. One person came up to me and said she was upset that she heard I got a new position because she had bigger things planned for her area for me. I told her to keep me posted and that I'd still be very interested in working with her. I want to travel but not as much as I may be doing in the near future.

Things are also beginning to move forward with one of the businesses I am trying to start with some friends. I've met someone this weekend that has contacts in South America for garment production, I hope to meet with him sometime in January. Hopefully we'll heat things up next year.
