so, it is time to feed your natural curiosity and come clean with you all:

i have a boyfriend.
(it is so weird to say that still.)
his name is dave.
(i've waited 18 years for him. i've never had a boyfriend before)
today (sunday the 24th) is our one week anniversary.
this day lastweek he asked my parents permission to pursue a relationship with me.
they said yes.
we are courting.
this has been the most wonderful week of my life. these past 7 days seriously have felt like 7 minutes.
i wanted to keep us on the DL for awhile and just enjoy eachother without everyone being all in our faces. but now it's at the point where i'm like, 'i want to tell the world!!!'
so, world, here is us-
today (sunday) he's coming over and celebrating my sister Lisa's birthday with us (she died when she was 9 days old). my grandma will be here. it'll be interesting.
no worries though; because he's amazing and i'm just so happy to spend time with him.
i'll update about how our day went later on.
