It's been a while

I know that I haven't kept up with LJ. I've had other things on my mind this past month. I've been doing all of my school work and helping out with the Musical this semester (not a lot, but some). It's a lot of fun. Tonight they showed all of the costumes to the director. I only stayed for an hour and a half, but it was fun. The director was being really pushy though. I also got to go home last week for Spring Break. That was nice, although I didn't do what I had planned to do while home. I wanted to relax, read and just sleep. Instead, I made a skirt and went to the dentist. I enjoyed making the skirt, but not so much going to the dentist. The semester is moving forward at a steady pace. It doesn't seem so bad this semester because I don't have a heavy class load. I actually have time to do things like watch movies with friends. I've seen so many movies this semester. Some of them were good, some not so good. But it's been fun, especially watching movies with other people here. I've really enjoyed the readings for my Quakerism class. They have really inspired me to work for a better world. I really enjoyed reading the Journal of John Woolman. He was a very good man. The only thing one can do is admire him for what he did. I'm really looking forward to doing research next semester with a religion professor on one of the Quaker meetings here in Richmond. That should be great. I'll get to read lots of Quaker texts on the Quakers who settled in this area. It should be really interesting. I also hope to buy myself a copy of John Woolman's writings. Yeah, I'll stop ranting about Quakers. They're cool. Life has been stressful here though. I guess I'm still getting over some stuff emotionally. Or at least I need to. But that will happen. I move forward in life towards the unknown.
