Life is moving along at its usual pace. The research thingy is coming to an end. Lori wants a draft of my paper on Friday. This does not worry me as it's not due until some time after school starts, plus I have done a good chunk of it already.
This weekend was a lot of fun. I went with a group of people to Dayton to have lovely Indian food (it was paid for by school!) and to go shopping in the Dayton mall. It was good fun. I managed to keep myself from buying too much. As in, I broke down at the end and bought two kinda cheap toe rings at Claire's, the girly store. It was like the last place that we went. We being Tori and I. And food doesn't count as buying something at the mall since it was ice cream. It doesn't count. No really. I managed to not spend more than ten dollars though.
The weekend was also chick flick time. Tori and I rented Something's Gotta Give and Hope Springs. They were both cute. I really liked the fact that Something's Gotta Give is about two middle aged people who fall in love. It's rather cute. Then, of course, I love Colin Firth. He was wonderful, as usual, in Hope Springs. Although I have to admit that I liked Something's Gotta Give more than Hope Springs. Anyway, it was fun to oggle at him and do girly stuff, which I haven't done in a very long time. It's refreshing.
