Well, my time here in Texas is drawing to a close at 4:10pm today, so I won't be updating again until next year when I get back to school (Jan. 10) unless I get the internet to work again at home. It was an awesome break. As you can see from my last entry, I got an iBook. It's only 12 inches (small) but it has 60gigs of memory, built-in wireless and ethernet connections, and it's a lot lighter than my old Dell (from the '90s) which went to Cliff. I also got: Snow Patrol "Final Straw;" the most comfortable robe ever from the Gap; shaving cream (don't ask); nail polishes, files, etc from Carolyn; a book about places to travel; fleece cap, scarf, and gloves from Canada; pajama pants and socks; the suit I've been wearing to work; the shoes I've been wearing to work; sneakers; 2 rings- one blue sapphire, 1 pink sapphire; a diamond pendant; and a raincoat from the Gap. I think that's it. My memory sucks. And I still have another Christmas to have on Christmas day at home.

I am now officially no longer employed at Samuels Jewelers. It was fun and stressful and cool to work in the mall. The hours kinda suck, and I feel bad for Robin (the manager) who has to work them. I'm gonna miss Rachel and Faith, but especially Veronica and Angelo. They were so much fun to work with. I'll have to come visit them next time I'm in Texas. I always go to the Barton Creek Mall anyway.

Well, Grandma is beckoning me for lunch (homemade soup), so I better go. Later days... (or until next year)
