Yesterday was a lazy kind of day. I was awoken at 1pm by Candis (as I told her to do) to watch UT narrowly beat Vanderbilt. A win is a win, though, and the VOLS are now SEC East Champions and going to the SEC Championship in Atlanta, GA. We have to play the SEC West Champions Auburn, who have already humiliated us once this year, but miracles happen, right?
After the game, we corraled Natalie and Leslie and went to lunch at the Grill. I have a canker sore or some other painful irritant on the roof of my mouth, so eating is no easy feat for me. I just hope it is gone by Thanksgiving. It's not going to lessen the amount of food with which I stuffmy face, but it will make it less enjoyable.
Speaking of Thanksgiving, Mom, Cliff, and I (sorry, Bennie) are going to Ellen's house again. I cannot wait for more of that Dirt Cake. Mmmm, mmmm, mmmm! That is some damn fine cake. It's got Oreos and cream, and, well, look it up online if you're so inclined and interested.
Back to Saturday, after lunch, Candis and I roamed the floor looking for something to do. Unsuccessful, as everyone was still recovering from Friday night, we went back to my room. I left the door ajar, and found The Wizard of Oz on TV, and watched it from my computer. I saw Keith walk by, stop, and come back to say hello. He must have been visiting Leslie and was heading for the stairs on my hall to get back to the 4th floor since his room is under mine. He came back, smiled, and waved, and started to walk away when Candis saw him and called him back. After some small talk, we were in his room retrieving his Super Nintendo to take back to my room. We played Super Mario 3 for awhile, then went to see what was happening. Candis needed to do some laundry (she had a shitload to do, too) and I went down to help her lug it down. Then, after a short while, it was 12:30, and I was dead tired. Candis invited me to go out with Jeremy and the 4th floor, but I instead opted for sleep. Friday night, I saw "Bridget Jones 2: The Edge of Reason" with most of the 6th floor, came back, hung out with Natalie, Emily, Candis, and Leslie, wakled around Pres Court, came back to my room, and watched "The Italian Job" w/ everyone but Emily (who wanted to watch the Grizzlies game), then went to bed at 2:30am. All week I had been going to bed around 2:30am, so by Saturday, I was hurting. Candis left, I went to bed, and didn't fall asleep until 2am.
This morning I went to Laurel Church of Christ with Candis at 10:30am, came back, got in bed to nap, was asked by Candis if I wanted to go to lunch with Steve-O, turned her down (I was that tired), and went to sleep until 4:45pm. I had a Habitat meeting at 5pm, waited until 5:15, left, came back, checked my email, and saw that Beth had arrived right as I was leaving. That's my luck. So I need to call her, am supposed to have dinner with Candis (will prob be soup since my mouth hurts like hell), and need to work on my English project.
I think that's enough writing for now. I'm sure you're asking yourself, "Will she ever shut up?" And the answer is, "Probably not, but that's all for now." Later days...
