It's my birthday on saturday. From what I've seen of the town it's too small to have a nightclub. And I don't have transportation to get to one. So I was thinking since it is the weekend of taking a trip home to see my sisters.

Otherwise I'll be stuck here. At school. For my birthday.

... I don't want that.

Akira? You coming with me? We'll play

It's yours as well? It's a very small world.

It is :D But I'm not doing anything special for it. Never really been a fan of parties and things like that.

Same. I tend to spend the time with my sisters and Akira. A meal and a movie or something simple. I don't like parties and would not appreciate one. Especially surprise ones. Luckily I will be leaving for the day tomorrow for home, so if any of the more... intrusive students here who like to take these things into their own hands will not have a chance to catch me to throw a party. I would suggest you do the same, lest they catch you for an impromptu party.

I've been here for long enough that most people know I don't do parties. Besides...even if I thought someone would try, I don't have anywhere to go to escape.

Why celebrate birthdays like a traditional Japanese?
You are getting a birthday hug. And a bit of clinging. And some not letting go >3

I really don't need any of that, you know. Just...a nice, fairly quiet day like any other is perfectly fine for me.

'Like any other.' Tell me, how many of those have you gotten in all your time here?

Mmm...well, okay, so my definition of "like any other" and that of non-mutants or mutants that do not attend this school are probably different but....mostly... I just mean with nobody fussing about it being my birthday.

It's not like you're turning... 12+1. You just survived a whole other year. That's fantastic!

Not once you're there. It's just like 18. and 18 - 1. And 18 - 2,and 18 - 3.....

Every year is important~ What about 18-18? Mine was celebrated with copious amounts of screaming, crying and swearing, from what my dad informed me.

Nobody ever told me about the day I was born. ....Well. Beyond the supposed fact that my maternal grandmother was putting a curse on someone at the time.

Hahaha! Why's that?
