It seems I have a job here now. I got a call telling me I'm supposed to be working at the library...I admit that wasn't quite what I was hoping for, but I do like books, so I guess it won't be so bad. Is it normal for the town to just assign people jobs like this?

No, I do not. I work here, actually.

Oh, is that so? I've never had coworkers before...

No, I run my own store back at home. It's something of a one-man operation.

Ah, I see. And what do you sell, precisely?

[knowsitsname]

I sell items from the outside world. The land I live in is sealed off from the rest of the world, so the technology is quite a bit behind everyone else's. A friend of mine is able to travel freely between our lands, so she procures the items for me.

Is that so? And how does business go back home? Is it any successful?

[knowsitsname]

[Pfft, no.]

It enjoys moderate success, I'd say. Enough to feed me, anyway.
