It seems I have a job here now. I got a call telling me I'm supposed to be working at the library...I admit that wasn't quite what I was hoping for, but I do like books, so I guess it won't be so bad. Is it normal for the town to just assign people jobs like this?

Yeah. I guess the droned me managed to choose something that happened to suit me decently...

Perhaps drones aren't so mindless after all. What job did you end up having?

A lawyer, actually. Not that I have any real experience with the field whatsoever, but I think I've got a hidden talent for representing others in need.

As for taking on a librarian's role, I think I'd fall asleep instantly, ihihi!

A lawyer? Well, if you think you have what it takes to be a lawyer, then I don't see you having much trouble. Better to have a job where you can play to your strengths.

That's right. Well, no offense to librarians or anything, but I don't normally catch them doing much other than sitting there quietly.

I imagine there's a bit more to it than that. Like knowing where all the books are so that they can help people find them, for instance.
