Three Items Unsold

Oct 12, 2010 21:27

It's October, so I've been hearing a lot about Halloween. I already have an idea of what the holiday is about, and I've read up quite a bit on its history...but we don't really celebrate it where I'm from, so I'm not really sure what one does on that day.

So for anyone who does celebrate it...how do you do so? I'm just curious.

reading is good for your brain, weird holidays, *sealand, *alice margatroid, research research research, !phone, *calleo crowe, *merem solomon, !ic

It does seem to involve a lot of candy...

Mischief Night?

That's the best part, getting bags and bags of free candy. [and the having it confiscated BUT WE DON'T SPEAK OF THIS]

Yeah, it's a night when all the kids get to go out and prank the adults.

I can imagine it would be, for some.

Really? I've never heard of it.

For anybody with their priorities straight.

I'm not surprised, if you've never heard of Halloween before. It goes hand in hand with it.

[Prooobably won't mention that candy isn't one of his priorities, then.]

I have heard of Halloween, but it isn't celebrated where I'm from.

That's lame. You're gonna have to make up for it extra this year.

I mean, unless you want to end up with a really lame one and have to go get candy all on your own. But that's just stupid.

I don't think I'd want to be "lame".
