Random Event Engine
Directions: When Skyla turns on the engine, go here and roll a number between 1-100. This effect happens to your character, and possibly Skyla as well. If you do not like the result, roll again. Feel free to decide for yourself how long the effects last, and what the details are. However, no effects last longer than a day or two.
1 - Repulsion field centered on the character
2 - Wild color changes upon the character
3 - Squirrels appear around character. They vanish soon after
4 - The character becomes itchy
5 - The character glows
6 - A fireball centers on the character. No harm is done, save to their clothes.
7 - The character's hair changes to a wildly different style
8 - The caster's color changes to something wildly different (Neon Green, Purple Polka Dots, Seal Gray, ect.)
9 - Everyone in the area changes direction
10 - Explosion centered on character. They suffer no harm save for a fine layer of soot all over them
11 - Entangling vines emerge all around the character and try to grab them
12 - The character suddenly can only move extremely slowly
13 - Character is turned into a wolf
14 - Character cannot move
15 - Character suddenly moves much faster than normal
16 - Character is changed into a squirrel
17 - A random pouch of chocolate coins appears in the character's hands
18 - Character feels weak and tired
19 - Sunfire effect centered on caster. No damage save the character shines brightly.
20 - The character can only move a few feet every few minutes.
21 - A fireball centers on the character. No harm is done, save to their clothes.
22 - Character's feet suddenly feel like they are glued to the ground
23 - Suddenly the character feels an overwhelming fear of something completely mundane.
24 - Roll twice more. Both effects apply
25 - For a moment the character is aware of where everyone is withing a one mile radius of themselves.
26 - Globe of invulnerability centered on character
27 - Silence 15ft radius centered on the character. Within this zone no one can speak
28 - Character becomes dizzy
29 - Character becomes invisible
30 - Pretty sparkles!
31 - Roll again. Whatever effect happens, apply it to Skyla
32 - Character becomes invisible
33 - Whenever the character opens her mouth, a rainbow flies out
34 - Birds appear around the character, singing a merry tune.
35 - A fireball centers on the character. No harm is done, save to their clothes.
36 - Gems created on character's person
37 - Video game battle music starts playing without any visible source
38 - Magical berries appear on the character. They taste delicious and sooth any aches.
39 - Fireball flies toward character. If they do not dodge, then no harm is done, save to their hair.
40 - Any magic items a character has does not function for a time, and any technology needs to be recharged
41 - Random treasure created on character's person
42 - Character gets a rush of adrenaline and the urge to spar or pick a fight.
43 - The character teleports to a random part of the garden.
44 - Skyla teleports to a random part of the garden
45 - All characters get the hiccups.
46 - A random door appears in the field and opens ominously. It doesn't lead anywhere though, it's just a random door frame.
47 - Character polymorphs into wolf
48 - Character's feelings for someone randomly switch to someone else.
49 - character recuperates as if she has gotten a good nights rest
50 - Monsters are summoned from the setting page
51 - It suddenly starts snowing within a 15 foot area
52 - A random loud noise can be heard
53 - Character feels vibrant and full of life
54 - A massive demon appears and charges. If struck it pops like a balloon. There is candy inside.
55 - Anything the character does is accompanied by a squealing noise
56 - A muffin appears in the character's hand
57 - Any time the character moves, they leave a shimmering afterimage in their wake.
58 - Anything the character throws moves as though it is under water.
59 - All weapons in the area glow
60 - A cupcake appears in the character's hand
61 - Character's feet feel glued to the floor.
62 - The character can sense magical auras for a short time.
63 - Roll 4 more times, and use each effect
64 - Character moves very slowly
65 - A pie appears in the character's hand
66 - Lightning bolt strikes character. No damage is done save her hair stands straight up or out to the sides.
67 - Character gains twice their normal strength for a few minutes.
68 - Any non permanent injuries the character has are healed
69 - Vines reach up to entangle the character
70 - Character feels exhausted
71 - Character is hit in face with a pie
72 - Target turns to stone for a few minutes. They can still move and talk, but walk very slowly
73 - Character gains a snazzy hat
74 - Any non permanent injuries the character has are healed
75 - Character dizzy
76 - Character suddenly has a thick layer of makeup
77 - Character held in place by invisible hands
78 - Character is temporarily blinded
79 - Character is susceptible to suggestions
80 - Gems appear on character
81 - Character is suddenly wearing a leather duster
82 - Random costume created on character
83 - Character polymorphed into a squirrel
84 - No one can talk within 15 feet of the character
85 - Character is suddenly wearing a pirate costume. Their normal clothes are next to them.
86 - Fake explosion centered on target
87 - A thick cloud smelling like rotten eggs appears around character.
88 - Cow falls from sky onto character. It weighs a quarter as much as a normal cow, and vanishes after a few minutes
89 - Character dizzy
90 - Everyone who comes withing 60 feet of character feels urge to break out in song
91 - Character itchy
92 - Character feels full of energy
93 - Character's shoes are glued to the ground. Character can remove them, but they remain in place until effect ends.
94 - Character is full of energy
95 - Character suddenly gains a rapier and feels the urge to swing from a chandelier
96 - Any ability a character tries to use is twice as powerful as they mean it to be
97 - A bucket appears over the characters head and dumps water on them
98 - Character's clothes change color.
99 - Character falls into a mud pit
100 - The engine works
