Summary: Joonmyun just wants everything to be perfect.
Note: Happy Valentine's Day everyone!
Pacing is a habit that Joonmyun has developed over the years, and Jongin watches in amusement as the older male attempts to burn a hole in their living room carpet while staring at a very long to do list.
"Do we have the tuxedos?" Joonmyun asks as he runs his hands through his greying hair, and Jongin smiles and falls into step with him.
"I'm picking them up from the dry cleaners in a few hours," he replies and Joonmyun crosses the aforementioned item off of the list.
"And the caterer and photographer know where the venue is and when to be there?"
"I called them thirty minutes ago and confirmed the arrival times and the location for the reception."
"That's great," Joonmyun says adjusting the list accordingly, however the speed of his pacing increases and Jongin sighs. "…and you're certain that we invited Kangta?"
"I mailed him three invitations because you kept insisting that we hadn't -"
"- oh no," Joonmyun says, coming to an abrupt stop. "The rings -"
"- are safe with Sehun," Jongin replies quickly as he steers Joonmyun towards the couch and forces him to sit. "I couldn't have picked a better Best Man. Now breathe."
Joonmyun closes his eyes and takes a deep breath while Jongin gently massages his shoulders.
"Stop worrying," Jongin says. "Everything has been taken care of."
"I'm sorry," Joonmyun replies sheepishly. "I just want tomorrow to be perfect."
"It will be perfect," Jongin says grinning. "Tomorrow I'm getting married to the man I love in front of my family and friends. What could possibly be more perfect than that?"
Jongin's words have a stronger effect than the deep breathing strategy and Joonmyun smiles as the tension leaves his body. He leans over and kisses Jongin, his lips lingering for a few seconds before he lets go.
"What would I do without you?" he asks, pressing their foreheads together.
"You'll never have to find out," Jongin replies and Joonmyun smiles and kisses him again.
