Song and Dance by

Summary: Hyesung comes back from his tour to see his girlfriend in an interesting situation.
Note: So recently I've become obsessed with Shinhwa. XD
After months of being on tour, taking countless pictures with fans, and visiting the landmarks and restaurants in different towns and cities, Jung Pilkyo finds himself back at his favorite place, home. He's missed the smell of the kitchen, the comfort of the living room, and most of all her, everything about her. That smile, that overwhelming immaturity. He's extremely glad to be back.
He quietly turns the key in the lock of the front door and slips inside. He lets out a laugh which he quickly stifles. He sits his suitcases by the door and moves silently into the living room, where he sits in the chair and watches her. She's in the kitchen earphones in her ears and a swifter mop in her hands. She's smiling and dancing and he recognizes right away that she's doing The Center's choreography.
She laughs and hums as she continues wiping the floor and Pilkyo can't help but laugh quietly along with her. She's listening to him without being aware of his actual presence in the room. But Pilkyo's known for years that she tends to tune everything and everyone out when she has earphones on. It's always amusing to catch her off guard and chuckle as she reacts to her shock. He plans to surprise her today too, but not yet. He's far too amused to stop her now.
The song in her ears changes and Pilkyo laughs quietly once more as she starts to hop around to Eusha Eusha. He notes that the only words that she sings are his (she never mastered the speed of the other lyrics) and his grins widens as she continues moving to the rhythm, putting the mop cloth in the trash and taking a bottle of cleaner and a rag out of the closet. She sings and laughs as she does the choreography and Pilkyo wants to get up and dance with her. He's missed the fun of twirling her around to whatever songs they would play. He's missed how they'd flop on the ground once they were finished and just talk about anything and everything while his head leaned on her shoulder. He smiles sadly as he continues to watch her.
The song changes again and Pilkyo recognizes it at once as his song Despaired Rain. His pulse rises at the raised pitch in her voice and he realizes that she's singing in perfect harmony with his voice on the track as. He feels guilty as he listens, wondering how often she's listened to his voice while he's been away, wondering how much she depending on to cope without him for the past three months. She's missed him as much as he's missed her.
He smiles, gets out the chair, creeps into the kitchen, and taps her shoulder. He laughs and ducks as she screams, spinning around and firing a stream of cleaning fluid into the atmosphere.
"For goodness sake woman you could've put my eye out!" he exclaims as she rips the earphone out of her ears, drops the cleaning materials, and screams once more. He shakes his head, laughing as she throws her arms around him.
"When did you get here?" she asks, chest heaving against his body and Pilkyo laughs as she catches her breath from being startled.
"Right around 'you're my love miss terry'," he replies with a grin. "You know you need bit more enthusiasm in the chorus dance. It was dead."
"Then why don't you show me your idea of enthusiastic dancing," she says releasing him. "I could use a good laugh."
"We'll see who laughs after I school you," Pilkyo replies grinning as she plugs the iPod into the speaker system in their living room. He laughs as Brand New comes blasting from the speakers.
"Bring it," she says as she moves in a circle around him, gently brushing against the fabric of his clothes and he grins as the feeling of how it was before he left settles over them again. He starts to sway to the rhythm.
"Don't worry," he says. "I will."
