Summary: Told from Totsu's point of view. Yabu confesses to Totsu's who isn't really sure what to say back.
Note: So I'm not sure about this but I heard that Yabu and Totsu were pretty close during Yabu's junior days. So I decided to write this drabble. I hope you guys like it!
~Impossible ~
He looked at me nervously, and then back at the floor, repeating the action every second. When did he become so reserved? Kota was always the loudest of the younger juniors and the one who was with me the most. I used to walk home with him and he talked to me about everything from his day at school to his worries in life. He never hid anything from me.
Except for a confession that he just blurted out, that is.
And now he wants an answer. But what answer do I give him?
I want to tell him that I'm sorry, and that it's impossible because he's only eighteen and I'm twenty-two; because he's not legal and I am; because he's only a child and I'm a adult.
I want to tell him that. But, as I look into those dark brown eyes full of uncertainty and at the same time hope, I can't. I sigh. I admit defeat.
"Let's walk home together today, okay?" I tell him.
And that's all he needed to hear. He smiled so brightly that his eyes disappear. My stomach does a flip.
Maybe it wasn't so impossible after all.
