Where did all of the universe come from. I mean the earth, moon and sun and everything come from somewhere, but where. I am catholic thus believe God created everything, but is this how he made it or did everything explode (big bang) and create the universe. My ultimate question is,,,are there other beings out there?

So one day God decided to set off the big bang and allowed the earth to develope for millions of years before humans came along. I actually think humans are the only thinking beings in the whole universe.

There is just no indication that there is any other life form out there, thus the rational conclusion must be there is not. Maybe Gods plan was for man to rule the universe. Every person will have their own sun.
