quick update
i dont have the time nor energy for a long post so here goes
1.I pledged and subsequently joined a "social fellowship" called groove phi groove. we're like fraternities but not exactly. plus we learn shit. check out more here http://www.gphig.org and http:/www.freewebs.com/mother-bear. if any has questions let me know
2.finals were yesterday and next week. its been a real crazy week for school. thursday night i stayed up till 4 between workin on my stuff and helpin my roommate with a class of his. then i woke up at 8 to finish my shit before it was due at 12, still didnt finish it. but i convinced the teacher to let me show him my project late. we're simulating simple cpu's, really simple but still really complex.
3.me and toya had a bad argument the other day. all im gonna say about that...
4.da vinci's album is near completed. just a couple more songs to do. luckily he's staying here over the summer, as am i. so we're gonna finish all this shit. then go on tour to different open mics and rip the spot, sell cds. i figure we can sell em for maybe 2-3 dollars, just enough to get money to make more cds
5.i finally got my school refund check(extra scholarship money). so now i can pay bills. i got like 160 in parking tickets thruout the semester, i owe my parents 162 for replacing the axle on my car, and i got a phone bill past due by a lil bit. dont worry, my phone never gets cut off, and never will.
6.i was looking for an internship for the summer. ppl was jerkin me around, "we'll call you by next tuesday". then the tuesday after that i get a email saying you're pursuing other candidates. im fine with being rejected, but waiting so long screws up my schedule. cuz that had me lookin for jobs on campus later in the year than i should've been, when everybody else got a headstart on lookin. i eventually found one, ima be secretary for the physics department. my boss told me it'd be a really chill job, not much to do. good shit
7.i may take a summer class in unix, or i may just get someone to teach it to me. prolly option number 2, cuz its FREE. and ill be doing stuff on my own, learning more skills(like napoleon dynamite) and i started builing a game again. tetris, actually made some decent progress. i figure since i didnt get an internship, gotta do something thats gonna make me look better to companies, how about learning on my own. to show initiative or sumthin. now im gonna go watch napoleon dynamite. peace peoples
