job worries, born-day, the art of perception
im lovin the perceptionists cd!
i was supposed to go to a papwerwork and benefits orientation class at my new job at Hecht's(clothes store for those who dont get em) yesterday but it slipped my mind. what makes me mad is i was thinkin about it earlier that day, but aaround when i shoulda went i forgot, didnt remember till 930, three hours after it started. i called the place this mornin trynna see if i could make it up, but aint no1 there yet. lets hope i still have my job.
i found out that the roots concert tomorrow that i wanted to go to is 21 and over. complete bullshit. and floetry's gonna be there too! damnit damnit damnit. yesterday was last day of classes, i turned in 19 pages of term paper that day, 3 papers. i had to write a good chunk of em on tuesday, which coincidentally was my birthday. i turned 19, toya bought me a button-down shirt, and my parents took me out to eat at some japanese grill where the chefs cooks in front of u and flips spatulas around and shit. it was great to have some fun after such a wack day of workin so long. but im done wit classes today so w/e. all i gotta worry about is 1 or 2 finals, cuz i might have an a in bio, in which case me take no final.
now that my days are open, i can write more rhymes and record more. ima prolly go by aarons house this week, hopefully we'll get a song or two recorded. i been fuckin wit samplin and fruityloops, seems like i do decent wit samples, my drum patterns just need work. i sampled a song from POD's last album, i like it.
