new rhyme!!!!!!!!!!
lately ive had no time/motivation to write. between school and the other myriad of bullshit, i just havent felt like it. and when i do feel like it, i cant write cuz its like 1 am and im sleepy. i read that lotsa ppl get most of their studio work done late at night. i cant do that shit. i write during the day, at night i zone the fuck out most of the time. or i go to sleep. seems like after 11 or 12 oclock i cant write even if i force myself. even tho i couldnt write, i still been freestylin occasionally when i remember to practice. gettin better...
this week has been stressful cuz my friends are havin some issues dealin wit one's ex. technically i shouldnt be stressed since im not really in the drama but i hate to see my friends go thru bullshit. me n toya been rocky cuz sometimes we're great but schools been stressin her too. this weekend was great for us tho. sometimes i refer to her as my wife and i wonder if im serious or bein facetious. neway even when im stressed i keep my head and eventually my life follows.
i feel like im doin better in calc 2 now, and i made some headway in researchin for my english paper. no bio class this week cuz my teacher has conferences to go to, so ima read ahead so i can be really prepared when he comes back. im still 4 programs behind in comp sci class, but 2 of em are explained in the book(i can use that to help me do em), 1 i just gotta show to the teacher, and i have a clear idea of how im gonna do the last.
on friday i finally wrote another rhyme. i like how it came out, fun w/o bein overly catchy or nonsense. and the openin line is hilarious to me. on phrenology the roots had a song called pussy galore, and in the liner notes they said it was hilarious to see ppl's reactions once they realized that the roots had a song called "pussy galore"(!). its like no they're the roots, they cant curse or talk about sex. yo mike, remmeber that talk about ppl havin more dimensions??
speakin of the roots' other dimensions, did yall know that they are buildin a strip club in the basement of their studio? it was in xxl a couple months back. i couldnt believe that when i read it. then i realized that as much as i hate rappers talkin bout sex all the time, even ive been to strip clubs(not just once or twice) and i aint no virgin(nor a prude).
