fourth of july..
happy independence day everyone!
yes... it's 4th of july, independence day. it's just like yet another public holiday for the Americans. an excuse to head down to the beach for some bbq and a day for families to get together and just bond and have some fun. and not forgetting, a day to play with fireworks even though it's illegal.
it'd been really foggy the pass few days... can't even see the wharf that is right beside the boardwalk. but today, it's just so bright and sunny, at the same time breezy. and there was no fog!!! the sky was blue and it's just CLEAR.
the park was packed with ppl. it's like chinatown during CNY. or mayb worse. get to see the sun and the moon at the same time!!! the sun set today was awesome.. seeing that yolk slowly fall back behind the horizon and seeing that moon shining brightly right above me... it's an awesome sight. and just as the sun disappear behind the horizon, u see fireworks lighting up the night sky. it's not like just one in one area. It's ALL OVER THE SKY... the whole picture is like splatter of paint in the sky. people are setting fireworks everywhere.... and from where i was, it was really nice.... along the beach there were fireworks, behind the lighthouse there was fireworks, behind the houses there was fireworks. its everywhere. north south east west. everyone is just setting fireworks. it was really pretty. a spectacular sight indeed.
work was hectic but time passes really fast. kinda love busy days now :)
