My left nostril... keeps blocking..bastard thing!
Angie and I spent the weekend up in Kingston, did the Thousand Island's thing and got ourselves a nice hotel room to enjoy our 1 year anniversary. (We're between both the indian and catholic wedding dates right now). It was nice, real nice. The room had 2 fireplaces, 3 tv's, jacuzzi and double shower, we so didn't want to leave there!
So, a couple of weeks ago I applied for 2 internal postings at work. Both would be significant positions and would shape the rest of my career. This would be when it was time to decide if I wanted to head towards Management/Consultation or if I wanted to get techier. I heard back today that I got the job for the 1st one, just waiting on the offer to come in. So yay, finally some good work news for me :)
I've begun reading the Hindu epic, The Ramayan. I picked up the 1st 2 books by Ashok K. Banker, it's his retelling of the ancient Hindu tale. Though I'm not Hindu, the story so far is absolutely breath taking. It's epic, it's beyond epic. I highly recommend this to anyone. It's 6-7 books though haha and each book is like 500+ pages, so be prepared to read!
