I've had this song in my head for the last 2 days non stop. Angie makes it a point to always mention that I'm obsessed with both Jenny Lewis and Neko Case.. she may of course be right... something about country twangy chicks... of course me marrying a girl from the stix would all fall into the same barrel. :) The video to this song is up on the site too under 'videos': http://www.jennylewis.com
We were out last night at the Crystal Room downtown, it was so dead there. We went with enough people to ensure we had a good time regardless though. Music was bang on, not one crap track. I'm surprised this place isn't rammed on a saturday night! But then again what I do I know, it's been 7 years since I've been clubbing in any form of regular basis.
Heading out to Jayne and Joanne's for dinner tonight, they're twin aunts of Angie's. I love them to bits because they're the coolest, quirkiest, realest people I've ever met. We adore Joanne's daughter Julia, nothing beats the feeling of her running across the room chirping my name and giving me big hugs. She knows I'll let her get away with anything :) I'm sure this is how it's going to be when we have our own kids, I'll be walked all over.. hahaha. But I don't think I'd want it any other way.
Work tomorrow.. blah.. we ended up doing some network maintenance at work yesterday, hopefully tomorrow won't be crazy due to it. The more my hatred for IT related work increases, the better I do in my career as far as growth goes. How messed up is that?
