(no subject)
I'm near Lake Shasta and it's just occured to me that maybe I should post my vague schedule for any Seattle folk who might want to get together.
I expect to be in Portland in a day or two and will probably stay at least another couple days to visit with some friends and do a bit of Lewis and Clark research. Seattle then early next week.
No specific plans for Seattle other than hanging out with Melissa and someone I met in Hawaii, but I'll probably stay for a week or two (don't need to be in Spokane until the 18th) with maybe a couple days in Vancouver or maybe a couple in Olympic NP. I am, as always, making it up as I go along and am welcome to suggestions.
After hanging out at the Artisan Cheese Festival last week I have a whole list of cheeses and wines I'd like to try. If there's interest (and I can convince Missa to host (unless someone else wants to host)), I may try to put together a dinner party. I want to do some cooking! So Seattle folk, is there interest? It could be done as a potlock or I could put it together myself (though if it's the second and it's heavy on the cheeses and wines I might ask for a few bucks to help cover the costs. Cheeses and wines would be thoses I can find picked out by the experts from the cheese and wine pairing seminar I helped at during the festival so you're not being asked to trust my judgement alone.
