Motion to Rise, Seconded

Thought before action: I have said I like to run, want to run, & considered starting for ....a while. Did not know what would motivate me to go into action. "Stop waiting" is my current operating motto and tonight I got started, but it helps to have company. I probably would be sitting here feeling this good and intending to go back out tomorrow, or later this week sometime, or maybe the next, but not with this type of certain intent that I have now. Company helps! A goal would help too, but for now I just want to be out running, build some endurance, & cut my corners to see how quickly I can reach "fast"

Point of running is to be fast, because otherwise as proven to be the case I am a perfectly happy walker. Nay, say, a happy meander-er. When I say I want to be fast I mean that I want to get away. Or, the other way around. To chase.

As for the company. Ee! It is a good uncertain intent. Don't know if it will be running -business, -friends, or -flirtation. He is not off the bat flirtatious. All to the good, that, since my pitch is currently set to strike any batters out. His schedule is to run 3x/week Mon-Wed-Friday. Tonight we did about 2 miles, but I believe that he usually does more then that. (will see if adopting some of another's perseverance helps me)
