Downward slide
Life is good.
We moved in last Wednesday. Our apt is the GREATEST. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, view of the pond w/ a fountain. Next to the pool. 2nd floor. Storage closet on balcony. LAUNDRY ROOM IN OUR APT!!!! Very open floor plan w/ open kitchen. Got to put up our own blinds so they aren't ghetto. Just amazing. You must visit :)
I have been feeling quite lazy lately. After the whole moving in experience and getting things settled, I have been feeling like a bum all week. Not only that, it's been 10 million degrees with a million % humidity, which makes the thought of being outside terrible. So I have been playing suzie homemaker, making dinner and cleaning things up. And watching lots of TV. I really wish it wa sn't so damn hot so I could go rollerblading.
Other than the move. Nothing big happening. Just kinda wasting time and getting things ready for school to start. YAY. I will be very happy to get back to school.
Oh, something big... I had my last day ever at MASP. It was very bittersweet. They got me balloons and a nice card. After work, I went back to my old apt to do a last check and turn in my keys. Then, I got in my car to drive to my new home. And I called my mom and I cried. I felt like I was so excited to become a "big girl" but didnt want to leave the comfort of what my life has been for the last 4.5 years. Leaving work was awful. I already miss it. I don't miss the stupid BS that I had to put up with sometimes, but I miss the atmosphere. I miss the people. I miss hearing funny stories and dealing with the sometimes irrational parents/incoming freshman that didn't know a whole lot about MSU. I miss being part of such an amazing staff that appreciated me and always let me know how glad they were that I was around. It was great getting to know so many people, but it was hard to leave. Not a bad thing to move on, but that doesn't make it any easier to go away for good.....
K, going away now.
more laziness to be done, maybe I'll clean.... we'll see.
