Turkey, Birthdays, Bars...

Hmmm... This entry should be long since i havent updated in a month... but it can't be all that long. I have a paper to finish, one that I was supposed to write on Wednesday. Oops.

Anywho. Thanks for all of the birthday wishes for those of you I talked to :) My birthday wasn't all too fabulous... until the end of the night. Lets start with Turkey day. It was great. Got up and had Thanksgiving w/ J's family. Then it was off to the Knoth zoo. Got there and opened presents, then ate some more yummy food. Watched the Polar Express after everyone left, and looked thru the ads to find some good black friday deals. Found a camera I wanted... but by the time my parents got to best buy, it was all sold out. I was angry.

Friday = my birthday. Got ready and went to exchange my Gap vest, and find some new snowboard boots. I got them for my birthday but it was my job to go pick them out. J and I got them from Sports Authority, following the stipulations from my mother. So I bring them home and I'm all excited and my dad asks how much they were and I told him. Then he yelled at me and told me I had to take them back b/c they were too much money. Too bad that my mom told me I could spend that much on them. They are so freakin comfortable, I honestly tried on 10 pairs and these were the only ones that really fit. In any event, I was pissed b/c it was my birthday and I followed my directions and still managed to do something wrong. Stupid father. Then him and my brother kept antagonizing me and just being annoying. To top it off, J and my mom were the only ones in my family to say happy birthday, my dad and brother didnt say anything. I was just pissed.

In any event, I got ready to go out. We watched the game at B-dubs with J's friends, and then moved on to the Post. It was a good time, but I wanted to see my brother for a bit, so J and I headed to Royal Oak to see Matt and his friends. While there, I saw about 10 people from LO. We had a great time there, lots of funny stories for the next day. My brother didn't remember all that much from the bar, so we had story time on Saturday and laughed so hard we were crying. (Fun stories: Julie with a G and Nick with a M, This is my friend Nancy, Jack-ass in the wheelchair) Just ask if you want to know :)

Saturday was spent searching for a Christmas tree. We ended up getting one in Clio. Then J and I met his parents at Sagebrush for my birthday dinner. Yum. Last night was low key, I was exhausted!

Ok, now I should go write my paper. I am having a really hard time staying focused....
