wow
It's days like this that make catch me completely off guard and just put a permanent smile on my face.
I just got done with all the graduation stuff. Let me tell you how incredible it was. After wasting lots of time in the aud basement getting ready, we finally start walking. As I am walking down the aisle to my seat, I hear my family screaming. I look up, and there sits my sister. She wasn't supposed to be here, she's supposed to be on a business trip in Cali! I almost started crying, I was so shocked. AND (for those of you that know her) Ms. Abes came! She was my incredible HS biology teacher. After the long ceremony, we finally met up and took lots of pictures and headed to Erickson. Hung around, then the fam (minus matt, erika, and amanda) left to go to my apt for a few. The rest of us went to the bookstore to get a collar for Vanny. Got back to my apt, and got my presents. An awesome photo album from Kris for all our memories and a candle, this really fabulous margarita mix/colored salts from holly, money, a luggage set... I can't even tell you how grateful I am to have such a great family and great friends.
We headed to Bravo for lunch, which was of course, amazing. Tom and Marcy came, which made my day. They are the greatest psuedo-parents I could ever ask for. Tom was telling fun stories (of course) and I am so glad they came. My neighbor from home even drove up. I was amazed.
Basically, today really showed me how fantastic my friends and family are. I have so much appreciation for all of them and what they have taught me, they are all so special to me and I couldn't have asked for anything more from today.
Off to rest up for the bar tonight... Matt is coming up and Ryan might be too, ha, could be interesting. Other than that, it's out w/ Kris and Chris and possibly Amanda and Jen. I love my girls :)
