Long Bus Rides
I just saw a young, female barely 20 boarding an aircon bus with her mother. The older woman who must have felt cold, fiddled with the aircon fan above the seat they've chosen, shook her head and spoke to her daughter. What followed was a synchronized switch in seating pattern as the older woman moved out to sit next to the aisle as the young female twitch her mouth in irritation after settling down under the full blast of the aircon.
This scene reminds me of my mom and I after a shopping trip. Oh, i forgot to mention, they were carrying BIG ikea bags.
Someone told me I was too emotional. Someone told me I'm reserved and slow to warm up to strangers. If I were to behave the way these ppl expect me to... am I still being me? Is an 'improved' version of me still ME?
I miss running with the uncle from the gym...
