[There is a bright green light that fills the screen and then a clearing of the throat before the Dreamberry pans backward until someone fills the screen. Clearly, it's Sheldon. Anyone can tell from the lanky, awkward frame, but god, he doesn't care because he's grinning from ear to ear. This is by far the best Halloween ever. Being the ever happy ( Read more... )

Oh! That's rather impressive!

I'm not sure who the Green Lantern is, but it seems like their powers are rather interesting.

Let's see....

I've acquired wings! And I know I can put up a barrier, other than that, I still don't know the extent of what new abilities I have.

Ah, Takuma! You wouldn't believe all the sorts of things that one could do with this ring. E possibilities are endless! And to think that i've been gifted with it is even. More extraordinary!

But wings and a barrier? Perhaps you're an angel of some sort; that would be my immediate guess.

Somarium does have a way of making things extraordinary. Hahahaha.... What are some other things you can do with that ring?

Mmmm...I thought so, too. But I certainly don't feel angelic. Not from the way humans describe anyways... And I have a random affinity towards the moon.

I mean, I've always thought the moon is lovely, but it sort of tugs at me now. As if it gives me some sort of energy.

[[ooc: His costume is Yue from Card Captors Sakura. XD]]

I have yet to really experiment with it, but if I should get hurt, it has extraordinary healing powers.

An angel that is a deity of the moon perhaps? The costume looks vaugely familiar.

That's good then! That way you can experiment all you'd like without any dire consequences.

Perhaps!

Does it? I feel like I'm cosplaying from something....but I don't know what.

The reassurance certainly is a good thing, yes.

I would say that as well. Perhpas something from a Japanese anime or manga.

I hope you're able to get the results your looking for!

[he nods]

Right? Hmm....but what would I be cosplaying from...?

It looks like something mystical!

....

Oh! You know what manga is?!

I will inform you once I do have the results.

'Card Captor Sakura' I believe it's called. It was created by CLAMP, a manga drawn by a group of four women. I haven't read it mind you, merely skimmed through Leonard's collection when I was cleaning his room while he was out.

I can't wait!

[he nods slowly]

Ooooh...I see... Card Captor Sakura...

That sounds like a shoujo manga! I wonder which kind of character I am then.

I definitely must be some sort of aloof character. The ones with the long white hair and mysterious clothing are usually aloof!

[omg yay! Someone to talk manga with!]

I wouldn't be able to say, but yes that usually does fit the stereotype.

I would point you towards Raj or Leonard but Raj is not here and Leonard is in some sort of coma.

Oh I see... So you're not as much of a manga fan as they are...

That's fine! I'm just happy that someone else knows about them. A lot of people don't! So I'm not able to talk about them as much.

Oh my....your friend Leonard is in a sleep coma. He'll be all right, just a bit stiff and hungry when he wakes up, but all right.

I apologize. Comic books are more my forte. Perhaps once Leonard wakes up, he'd be more than happy to converse with you about them.

Oh. Is that what it is? [He seems almost a bit disappointed.] I suppose I can't conduct any experiments while he's asleep then; the results would offer up little besides what others have found.

It's okay! As they say, "To each their own". But I'm excited to talk with your friend about them now.

[He lets out a chuckle]

I don't think he'd appreciate the experiments done on him without his consent.

Ah...

Unless he likes that sort of thing.

He'll be pleased to speak to you to, or at least, that's what I'm assuming.

[Pauses.]

Well, it would be like Penny says, 'What he won't know, won't hurt him.' I never understood that saying though. What if one were doing something that would injure the person and hurt them?

not_my_grandpa October 25 2010, 05:21:01 UTC
We'll just have to see!

[He blinks]

....

I don't think that saying means literally injuring someone. There's no way that the person being injured wouldn't know. It's more in terms of they won't get angry or upset about whatever is being done behind their back.

Like...for example, someone was saving cookies for a party, but I reeeeally wanted one. So while they weren't paying attention, I took one! And if they never know I took one, they won't be upset.

Ohhh...

[Pause.]

But what if I conducted an experiment that happened to have unforeseeable results that happened to cause bodily harm to Leonard? What then?
